Dwelling unit

A dwelling unit consists of one or more rooms that con­tain food preparation and sanitary facilities provided for the exclusive use of the occupants of the unit. The inhabitants of a dwelling unit are one or more persons who are "living together and maintaining a common household, in a residential building or residential portion of a building."
