AB 2923 by Assemblymembers @DavidChiu & @AsmGrayson would require @SFBART and local jurisdictions to adopt minimum TOD zoning guidelines and ordinances for BART-owned land within .5 miles of a BART station entrance. The bill would require the board to adopt a permit streamlining process for specified TOD project applicants and would provide that a TOD project shall include a specified 20% affordable housing requirement and comply with specified labor requirements.
